The Curriculum of Shadows: Stealth and Nature Awareness

Field Intensive Spend 4-days and 3-nights exploring the core study of The Curriculum of Shadows. Under the guidance of Trackers Rangers Guild instructors you join a team of follow Rangers, living completely silent and invisibly in the forest. Meanwhile, other Rangers teams are out there to test yours, hunting you as you hunt them with foam arrows and a light firing survival bow you made yourself. The ultimate training is the ultimate experience.
Field Gear and Formation
You come carrying minimal gear, just enough to stay warm and dry as you travel ultra-lite across the land. The first day is an equipment check and introduction to the natural camouflage and movement arts of the Rangers Guild. We also cover long range awareness using bird alarms and calls.
Stealth Scenario
After the first day of training, with a team of six, led by an experienced Trackers Ranger guild instructor, you live day and night camping lightly and invisibly on the land. Always moving and armed with a handmade wilderness survival bow and safe foam arrows, for 3-days you live a giant game of cat and mouse, both avoiding and seeking out the other Ranger teams moving through the forest and the shadows.
Absolute Silence
Everyone in your team swears a vow of silence, never speaking a word for three days the stealth scenario takes place. You communicate non-verbally. This experiential training is vital to truly coming to terms with silence, invisibility and The Curriculum of Shadows. You sincerely leave this workshop with an entirely new perspective on the world.
