Apprenticeship: Outdoor Leadership Skills

Long-term Programs

Our long-term mentoring programs develop skills of outdoor leadership. Youth and teens become leaders by rediscovering their own connection to nature and community. Students return to study with mentors and friends year after year.

Apprentices learn through hands-on projects with our Four Guilds:

Rangers Guild Stealth, archery and wilderness survival.
Wilders Guild Wild plants, folk craft and restoration gardening.
Mariners Guild Kayaking, fishing and water ecology.
Artisans Guild Fine crafts, storytelling and leadership.
