Trackers Apprenticeships provide an opportunity for youth to work with highly experienced mentors throughout the year to develop self-reliance, confidence, and character. In this program students study incredible outdoor skills including wilderness survival, animal tracking, intensive awareness, wild plants, and archery. In our apprenticeship program, every family member benefits from a rich village of learning.
We believe children are far more capable than our modern world allows them to be. Our nature immersion program for Ages 4 - Grade K offers real outdoor skills, accomplishments & connection.
The Rovers of Trackers are the most wise in the ways of the forest. They know the signs of the animals, voices of the birds, tales of the trees, and stories of the stars.
Outdoor Skills & Nature Immersion
The Rovers Forest Apprenticeship goes beyond just a program: It immerses youth in the skills of Trackers Craft and starts them on a path of lifelong learning. Our instructors are experts in nature education and in teaching young children. We are ready and inspired to help our youngest students develop confidence in the outdoors. We call them Rovers because they engage with skills from all of our Four Guilds:
- Rangers Guild
- Stealth, archery, and wilderness survival.
- Wilders Guild
- Wild plants, folk craft, and restoration gardening.
- Mariners Guild
- Fishing, foraging, and water ecology.
- Artisans Guild
- Fine crafts, storytelling, and leadership.
