Wilderness Survival Basics
This is our foundational course in wilderness survival and outdoor skills. We begin with an overview of priorities in both an emergency and long-term wilderness survival situation. Then, students get hands-on experience with skills of Forest Craft including tools, seeking shelter, staying found, finding water, making fire, and tracking.
Classes are conducted in nearby parks and green spaces. A shuttle is available from Trackers HQ and generally leaves one hour before class start time. This class runs from 10AM to 4PM.
