The 2026 Open House is behind us and the school year is underway. If you are looking for a program now, there is no need to wait for August: After School, Homeschool, and the Weekend Apprenticeships enroll through the year, and our Director team can walk you through fit, payment plans, and financial aid any weekday.
If you would rather come see it all in one evening in the hills above El Cerrito, the 2027 Open House date gets set in early summer. Leave your email below and you will hear first.
What the Open House Is
One evening at Camp Herms, every station free and guided. Kids try the skills while parents talk with Guides, current students, and the Director team.
🎯 Archery & Axe Throwing
Take aim side by side with your kids. No experience needed, gear provided, Guides coaching every arrow and throw.
🔥 Fire-Making & Carving
Spark a fire from friction and carve a small craft to take home. The skills your kids brag about on Monday.
🎣 Casting & Foam Swords
Grab a rod and test your aim for small prizes, then jump into fast-paced games with safe foam swords.
🎒 Campfire & Enrollment
Stories by firelight for the kids while parents meet Guides, current Apprentices, and the team that handles enrollment.
